This improvement is thanks to a new partnership between Manulife and TELUS Health, allowing employees to access support services directly from their Manulife account.
Need help to manage life’s complexities – be it issues with work, health, or life?
Your TELUS Health EFAP offers you and your family free, confidential, 24/7 support. Get help with stress, anxiety, workplace issues, relationships, legal advice, and more.
And, when longer-term support is needed beyond your EFAP sessions, you now have the option to continue working with the same counsellor or choose another one. Based on your plan’s coverage, part of the counselling expenses could be reimbursed by your benefits.
The improved experience includes:
- 1-on-1 personalized live care support to guide you to available resources, find the appropriate counsellor, book, or reschedule an appointment online, etc.
- Online resources: articles, videos, self-guided care plans
- Mental health services integrated within the Manulife Mobile app
Who is eligible?

- Spouse/common-law spouse partner
- Dependents living within the same household as the employee
- Children away from home attending post-secondary education full-time up to 25 years of age
