Teen Mental Health

This workshop gives parents the tools to navigate the challenges of adolescence, distinguishing typical teenage behavior from signs that professional help might be needed.

It will also teach concrete skills to improve communication, manage behavior and enhance family life.

Women's Health: Embracing and caring for your whole self

Women often face unique challenges physically, mentally, and emotionally, while caring for others before themselves.

This month’s session opens the door to honest conversations about women’s health and the connection between mental and physical well-being.

While the focus is on women, everyone can watch this because we all know and care about women whose health matters.

Building mental fitness

Improving mental fitness is like building muscle—it requires time, practice, and consistency.  Mental fitness is crucial because it can enhance your overall well-being and quality of life. Just as physical fitness keeps your body strong and resilient, mental fitness ensures your mind remains sharp, adaptable and capable of managing the stresses of daily life.

In this workshop, you’ll learn mindfulness, self-awareness, flexible thinking, and emotional regulation skills, which will help you build your mental fitness essential to living a balanced, happy and fulfilling life.

Men's Mental Health

In this workshop, participants will learn to understand gendered behavior, how to build emotional awareness, and how mental health support can benefit you by understanding sources of stress, learning coping strategies, developing new perspectives and helping you view circumstances more objectively. While this workshop is focused on men’s health, everyone is encouraged to attend. We all have partners, fathers, brothers, sons, uncles and friends that we love and want to support on their health journey.

Construction Suicide Prevention

This workshop will teach you how to recognize warning signs of suicide and emotional distress and guide you on how to express concern and connect colleagues to the right support. Since we spend much of our time with coworkers, let’s learn to respond confidently, compassionately and effectively to a colleague in crisis.

How do you know you need therapy?

The Minding Your Mental Health: How to Know When to Get Support workshop is designed to teach you a range of things from how to handle the common stresses of life, to identifying the signs of more serious mental health problems like depression and anxiety, and learning how to get help when you or your loved ones need it.
