Each month, a wellness topic will be featured here along with resources provided by our Employee Assistance Providers and Employee Family Assistance Program (EAP/EFAP).
Mental health issues affect millions of men, yet men are less likely than women to get treatment. Why? There is a powerful mental health stigma in males that makes it hard to discuss mental health and ask for support.
If you would like the help of a specialist who can offer you confidential care, please contact the mental health support program in your country, as indicated below.
Live webinar: November 15, 2024, from 1 to 2 p.m. CDT.
November is Men’s Health Awareness Month – a month dedicated to increasing awareness and starting conversations about men’s health issues and encouraging those to seek support that need it.
In this workshop, participants will learn to understand gendered behavior, how to build emotional awareness, and how mental health support can benefit you by understanding sources of stress, learning coping strategies, developing new perspectives, and helping you view circumstances more objectively. While this workshop is focused on men’s health, everyone is encouraged to attend. We all have partners, fathers, brothers, sons, uncles, and friends that we love and want to support on their health journey.
